Heartfelt thanks from everyone at IPMW for your wonderful presence and participation at our Spring reception on Saturday, April 14th!  We couldn't do this work without you, and your interest and generosity is so valued by and valuable to us.

I hope that you were as moved by the stirring testimonies of Jerri, Fran and Sheila.  We are blessed to be in community with them.  This work takes meaning from their hard work and faith.

I'm pleased to say that between donations received both live and online, we exceeded our Board member's $3,000 challenge!  With your help, we raised a total of $6,336 in conjunction with today's event - well on our way to our $10,000 April goal.  Thank you!!!

We will keep our UnParty page open for the time being, so please feel free to pass the link on to your friends and others who you think may be interested in this work of helping people as they rebuild their lives after a period of incarceration.  And, please reach out to my colleague Shanae Artis at shanae.artis@ipmforwomen.org for more information about our upcoming Info Session and New Mentor Training.

Hello to the Unparty from IPMW Chaplains! We are out in the field today with One Day with God helping 25 incarcerated women reconcile with their children. A big thanks to everyone who donates today to make this powerful work possible!

More from IPMW chaplains at One Day with God: Getting honest about those things that keep women from being the mothers they want to be — and breaking those chains!

Across town IPMW is partnering with One Day with God — right now I am watching women snuggle their children as they watch a skit about the truth that God loves us always—on the good days and the not so good days! This is one of those days in which I am so grateful to be a prison chaplain— THANK YOU to everyone who makes this work possible.

Thank you for joining the UnParty!

On Saturday, April 14th from 4 - 6 pm you are invited to join our virtual UnParty in celebrating Transitions and Transformation for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women.  Hosted by board member Marci White, we will do our best to connect you to the live goings on, including video clips of stories and testimonials and posts from guests.

We want to include you in the celebration!  Anyone who makes a donation to Interfaith Prison Ministry for Women in conjunction  with this UnParty will be included in a raffle.  Your prize will be mailed to you if you win.

Thank you very much for your interest in and support of the inspiring women who are forging a new and different path for themselves on behalf of all of us and  our community.  We will remain in touch throughout the week and on Saturday.  Please come back to visit us.

I am so excited for this unparty! Our IPMW Chaplaincy Team has the awesome opportunity to participate in One Day with God on Friday and Saturday -- a two day experience in which incarcerated women get to spend a day in a camp-like environment reconnecting with their children through games, crafts, meals together, and just good family time. We will be there with them when others gather together on Saturday, but I will be checking into the Unparty from my phone!
